Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Intern, Mechanical Engineering in Carlsbad, CA. You will support new product development and factory support for existing products, collaborating with mechanical designers on CAD models and part documentation.

The position requires you to be pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related field at an accredited university. CAD/FEA exposure is a plus and relocation stipends are available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree, a master's degree, or a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science Engineering or related field at an accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical engineering support for both new product development activities as well as factory support of existing products.
• Work directly with mechanical designers on CAD models and part documentation
• Generate and/or process engineering change orders (ECO’s) as required
