Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Greenville, TX is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Intern for a co-op from June 2027 through December 2027. This onsite role supports new product development and factory support, working with mechanical designers on CAD models and documentation.

Responsibilities include generating ECOs and assisting with hardware analysis; preferred candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's in Mechanical or related engineering and have exposure to CAD/FEA and fatigue analysis.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science Engineering or related field.
• Experience with CAD or analysis tools (FEA) preferred.
• Understanding of structural mechanics and fatigue.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical engineering support for new product development and factory support of existing products.
• Work with mechanical designers on CAD models and part documentation.
• Generate and/or process engineering change orders (ECOs).
