Responsibilities

• Create and modify detailed mechanical drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD Mechanical and Autodesk Inventor Professional.
• Translate sketches, markups, and existing components into accurate engineering drawings.
• Develop general arrangement and assembly drawings as directed.
• Review drawings for accuracy and completeness before engineering review.
• Maintain and organize electronic drawing files using Autodesk Vault.
• Provide check prints and relevant documentation per project specs.
• Follow established drafting standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering and other departments to support production needs.
• Apply knowledge of manufacturing processes to ensure drawings are production-ready.
• Maintain proficiency in drafting software and stay current with industry practices.
