Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates welcome with basic CAD experience.
• Pontiac, IL on-site role drafting detailed drawings for machinery and devices.
• Two years of CAD modeling or drafting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed working diagrams and drawings with dimensions and notes.
• Develop design drawings for mechanical equipment, dies, tools, and controls using CAD.
• Lay out orthographic and isometric views to show component relationships.
• Create blueprints for items such as furniture or chassis components as needed.
• Apply math to develop specifications and verify dimensions.
• Annotate drawings with instructions for manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Coordinate with teammates to resolve design or technical issues.
• Follow drafting standards and templates to ensure consistency.
• Demonstrate attention to detail to ensure correctness of drawings.
• Learn and apply new CAD tools, including Siemens NX, over time.
