Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Mechanical Designer in Anoka, MN, to support design maintenance, print updates, and engineering change work while receiving hands-on training and mentorship.

As you gain experience, you will transition into more advanced design and R&D-focused responsibilities, with a clear path for growth within engineering and product development. Onsite 4 days a week, remote 1 day per week.

Qualifications

• AAS degree in Drafting, Mechanical Design, CAD Technology, or related field.
• 1–5 years of drafting, design, or CAD experience.
• Recent graduates encouraged to apply.
• SolidWorks experience required.
• Exposure to sheet metal design is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Update and revise existing engineering drawings and documentation using SolidWorks.
• Perform redlines and print updates to support engineering change activities.
• Ensure drawings, models, and documentation accurately reflect current product designs.
• Work closely with engineers to maintain design accuracy and configuration control.
• Support new product introduction and design change projects.
• Review drawings for accuracy and identify discrepancies when needed.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with aggressive timelines.
• Help maintain engineering documentation and drafting standards.
