Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking a recent graduate or early-career Mechanical Designer in Anoka, MN to grow within engineering and product development. You will start by supporting design maintenance activities, print updates, and engineering change work with hands-on training and mentorship.

As you gain experience, you may transition into more advanced design and R&D-focused responsibilities. Onsite four days a week and one day remote, with SolidWorks experience and an AAS in Drafting or CAD related

Qualifications

• AAS degree in Drafting, Mechanical Design, CAD Technology, or a related field.
• 1-5 years of drafting, design, or CAD experience.
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• SolidWorks experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and shifting priorities.
• Self-motivated, coachable, and eager to learn.
• Exposure to sheet metal design is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Update and revise existing engineering drawings and documentation using SolidWorks.
• Perform redlines and print updates to support engineering change activities.
• Ensure drawings, models, and documentation accurately reflect current product designs.
• Work closely with engineers to maintain design accuracy and configuration control.
• Support new product introduction and design change projects.
• Review drawings for accuracy and identify discrepancies when needed.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with aggressive timelines.
• Help maintain engineering documentation and drafting standards.
