ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Mechanical Designer to generate 3D CAD drawings and 2D fabrication drawings for water and wastewater projects, collaborating with a multi-discipline team across engineering functions.

You will use SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD Plant 3D (Revit a plus) to develop BOMs and routing/weldments, while contributing to schedule discussions and resolving technical challenges. Mentoring junior designers may be involved.

Formación

• Generate 3D CAD drawings for fabrication.
• Create 2D fabrication, spool drawings and generate BOMs for fabrication.
• Work within a multi-discipline team and proactively communicate on schedule and technical challenges.
• Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS and/or AutoCAD Plant 3D. Revit an asset.
• CSWP (Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional) preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
• Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify solutions.
• Acts as resource for more junior designers.
• Specialized depth in mechanical design of water/wastewater skids or plants.
• Food and Beverage, Industrial, Municipal and Micro Electronics markets experience preferred.

• Produce 2D fabrication, spool drawings and generate bills of materials for fabrication [30%].
• Work within a multi-discipline team and proactively communicate on schedule and technical challenges [100%].
