ALTEN Technology USA is hiring a Mechanical Designer in Richmond, VA. You will generate precise 3D CAD drawings and 2D fabrication drawings, building BOMs for fabrication while collaborating across disciplines and communicating schedule and technical challenges.

Requirements include SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD Plant 3D experience; Revit is a plus, CSWP is preferred, and the role emphasizes independent work and problem solving in diverse markets.

Formación

• College diploma or higher and 5+ years CAD drafting/design experience with SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Experience with SOLIDWORKS Routing and Weldments add-ins.
• Strong knowledge of drafting standards and practices.

Responsabilidades

• Generate accurate 3D CAD drawings.
• Produce 2D fabrication drawings and bills of materials.
• Work within a multi-discipline team and communicate on schedule and technical challenges.
• Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS and/or AutoCAD Plant 3D; Revit asset is a plus.
