Job summary

Royal Truck is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Designer, Manufacturing to draft changes to engineering drawings using SolidWorks in a manufacturing setting. You will correct BOMs and assign new part numbers to support production.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree or drafting experience in heavy industry and can read drawings, apply tolerances, and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to deliver accurate designs.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred or equivalent drafting experience.
• Minimum 1-year previous design and drafting experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Drafts changes to machinery drawings using 3D CAD (SolidWorks) and updates BOMs.
• Assigns new part numbers and sets up BOMs as needed.
• Coordinates with Manufacturing for problem resolution and drawings support.
