Job summary

Royal Truck is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Designer to draft and revise machine drawings using SolidWorks. You will manage BOMs, assign new part numbers, and ensure accurate fabrication data for on-site manufacturing environments.

The role requires 1+ year of drafting experience, strong reading of engineering drawings, and solid math skills. Proficiency in 3D CAD and an ability to liaise with Manufacturing is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in mechanical engineering or drafting preferred.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar 3D software.
• Minimum 1-year previous design and drafting experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Drafts changes to engineering drawings using 3D CAD (SolidWorks).
• Updates BOMs and assigns part numbers as needed.
• Creates and revises detail drawings of machinery and mechanical devices.
• Coordinates BOM and PN setup with ERP/MRP databases.
