Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Pursuing an Associate or Bachelor's degree in engineering is preferred.
Experience with tools such as Revit, Navisworks, PIPE-FLO, or AutoCAD is a plus.
Strong communication skills enabling effective collaboration and clear client interaction during design reviews and RFIs.

Responsibilities

Produce comprehensive technical drawings, and models aligning with project requirements and client expectations.
Creation, refinement, and finalization of designs encompassing industrial piping, plumbing, ducting, process chemicals, and potentially other mechanical building systems.
Apply established design techniques, exercising judgment to adapt and modify design concepts while ensuring compliance with company and team CAD standards for quality control.
Collaborate closely with design teams, Engineers, Project Managers, and stakeholders to address specific objectives, complex features, and propose viable solutions to unique challenges.
Facilitate seamless coordination among various design disciplines (Electrical, Structural, Process/Chemical, Architectural, etc.) to fulfill design package requirements.
Conduct field verifications and site assessments to identify, verify, resolve, and integrate solutions into design packages, troubleshooting design issues during construction as necessary.
