Mechanical Designer II page is loaded## Mechanical Designer IIlocations: Tulsa, OKtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR101269**Job Description:****Job Summary:** Designs, develops, creates models/assemblies with CAD for various types of HVAC equipment.**Essential Responsibilities/Activities:*** Uses computer design software (CAD) to develop models and drawings.* Generate conceptual and preliminary drawings to be used for development of product.* Tasked with updates and revisions to existing designs, as well as assist with new product design.* Designer will help to troubleshoot issues on the line.* Keeps up with the processing of orders in house (SPAS).* Expected to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under guidance of other design Engineers.* Will be competent in Independent work.* Confers with engineering management to complete assigned projects.* Collaborates with Engineers, management, and other creative departments to determine design solutions.* Provides complete bill of material by defining when, where, and why parts are used.* Maintains and builds professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, or participating in professional societies.* Travels when necessary**Education and Experience Requirements:****Degree(s):** Two-year technical degree preferred.**License(s):** None**Certification(s):** None* Minimum of 3-5 years in the HVAC industry or equivalent experience in a similar industry.**Essential Mental Functions:*** Communicates effectively in written and spoken form.* Possesses excellent interpersonal relationship skills.* Exhibits good decision making and analytical problem solving abilities.* Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills.* Works effectively in a team environment.* Works effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.**Essential Physical Functions:*** Lift up to 50lbs.* Sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours.* Periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.**Disclaimer:**Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
