Process and approve customer orders.**Essential Responsibilities/Activities:*** Configures bills efficiently for ease of understanding, completeness, and accuracy.* Works closely with Design Engineering, Electrical Drafting and Electrical Engineering departments to guarantee a set amount of jobs are processed out of engineering each day.* Reads and understands technical manuals, instructions, and criteria.* Reads and reviews electrical diagrams.* Reviews product design for company standards, engineering principles, and specifications.* Confirms customer selections are compatible with manufacture’s specifications.* Reviews bill of material and product specifications to accurately determine the amount and type of materials and components required.* Incorporates Engineering Change Notices into bill of materials.* Processes basic customer orders and provides final engineering approval.**Education and Experience Requirements:*** Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.* Minimum of 1 year of bill of materials experience in the HVAC industry or equivalent experience in a similar industry.**Essential Mental Functions:*** Communicates effectively in written and spoken form.* Excellent interpersonal relationship skills.* Exhibits good decision making and analytical problem solving abilities.* Presents a strong, confident, and decisive personality.* Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and excellent organizational skills.* Works effectively in a team environment.* Works effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.**Essential Physical Functions:*** Ability to lift up to 50lbs.* Ability to sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours.* Work requires periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.**Disclaimer:**Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
