Piping Designer I page is loaded## Piping Designer Ilocations: Longview, TXtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR101020**Job Description:****Job Summary:** Designs, develops, creates models/assemblies with CAD for various types of HVAC equipment.**Essential Responsibilities/Activities:*** Uses computer design software (CAD) to develop models and drawings.* Generate conceptual and preliminary drawings to be used for development of product.* Tasked with updates and revisions to existing designs, maintenance of current product offering.* Will handle design projects that are marked up/handed off.* Confers with engineering management to complete assigned projects.* Collaborates with Engineers, management, and other creative departments to determine design solutions.* Provides complete bill of material by defining when, where, and why parts are used.* Maintains and builds professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, or participating in professional societies.* Travels when necessary**Education and Experience Requirements:** Two-year technical degree preferred.
