This role applies advanced engineering principles to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure product consistency. The position contributes to departmental and organizational goals by driving process improvements, supporting cross-functional initiatives, and mentoring junior engineers. It serves as a key technical resource in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment.**Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:*** Lead the design and implementation of manufacturing processes, equipment layouts, and production workflows to improve efficiency and safety.* Analyze production data and process performance to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.* Collaborate with product design, quality, and operations teams to ensure manufacturability and alignment with production capabilities.* Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, and process documentation.* Support the introduction of new products and technologies into manufacturing by coordinating trials, validations, and training.* Evaluate and recommend new tools, equipment, and technologies to enhance production capabilities.* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Manufacturing Engineer I and other team members.* Participate in cross-functional projects focused on lean manufacturing, cost reduction, and quality improvement.* Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all engineering activities.* Performs other duties as assigned.**Education and Experience Requirements:**Requires a four-year ABET-accredited degree in engineering or an equivalent technical degree in applied sciences; 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role within the HVAC or a similar industry; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
