Job summary

VAA is seeking a Mechanical Designer for a hybrid/remote role. You will work with Engineers and Project Managers to prepare complete construction documents and support during construction.

Responsibilities include CAD isometrics, layout plans, sections, shop draw reviews, and coordinating with clients and vendors. Occasional travel for site observations may be required. Proficiency in Revit and Plant 3D is essential, with HVAC and plumbing design experience preferred.

Qualifications

• HVAC/plumbing design experience or drafting certificate.
• Proficient in Revit 3D and Plant 3D for BIM workflows.
• Ability to prepare complete construction documents with Engineers/PMs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction documents with Engineers and Project Managers.
• Create isometrics, layout plans, sections per CAD standards.
• Coordinate designs with team members and vendors.
• Review shop drawings and field questions; support during construction.
