VAA is seeking a Mechanical Designer for a Hybrid/Remote position based in Minneapolis, MN. You will design HVAC and plumbing systems, prepare construction documents, and collaborate with engineers and clients to ensure project success.

The role requires certifications in drafting and HVAC/plumbing design experience, with proficiency in Revit 3D and Plant 3D. Starting hourly range is $30–$40, with benefits and growth opportunities within a supportive, collaborative culture.

Qualifikationen

• Certificate in construction related drafting or related courses and at least three years of HVAC and plumbing design experience OR at least four years of HVAC and plumbing design experience
• Proficiency in Revit 3D and Plant 3D
• Experience designing HVAC and plumbing systems for industrial, commercial facilities

Aufgaben

• Prepare complete construction documents with Engineers and Project Managers.
• Create isometrics, layout plans, sections and details to CAD standards.
• Provide direction and distribute work to Technicians.
• Review and back-check the Technician's work.
• Coordinate designs with team members and product vendors.
• Attend internal coordination meetings and client coordination meetings.
