Job summary

PeopleSolutions, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Designer/Mechanical Engineer (HVAC & Plumbing) to join a growing team. Entry-level to experienced candidates can apply, with contract-to-hire or direct hire options. Salary ranges from $70,000 to $100,000+ annually, depending on experience and credentials.

The role focuses on commercial building design and collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams, offering a small-team environment with mentorship and local project visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent design experience.
• AutoCAD experience is required.
• Experience with HVAC and plumbing system design is preferred.
• EIT is a plus; PE license welcomed but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mechanical and plumbing system designs for commercial building projects.
• Produce and modify construction drawings using AutoCAD.
• Assist with HVAC and plumbing system layouts and calculations.
• Coordinate with electrical and architectural teams throughout project development.
• Support projects from design through construction.
• Ensure designs meet applicable building codes and client requirements.
