Job summary

Bachelor or Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and 5+ years of solid modeling experience required; custom automation design experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or Design or related field.
• 5+ years of solid modeling experience.
• Opening for various experience levels; those with more years encouraged to apply.
• Custom Automation Cell Design Experience a plus.
• Ability to execute design work from concept to completion.
• Work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop model and assembly designs and corresponding drawings for manufacturability and efficiency.
• Design and detail to established company standards.
• Modify prints to meet customer and management expectations.
• Review design projects with internal and external customers.
• Meet with customers as needed, primarily via web conference; some travel may be required.
• Perform duties in a dynamic, engineer-to-order environment.
