Job summary

Advanced Tooling Specialists, Inc. in Menasha, WI is seeking a Mechanical Designer/Engineer to create and maintain model and assembly drawings for in-house and outsourced manufacturing.

You will design to established standards, modify prints, and review projects with customers. Ideal candidates have a 5+ year solid modeling background, experience in tooling or OEM machine design, and strong problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills to thrive in a fast-paced, engineer-to-order

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or Design or related program.
• 5+ years of solid modeling experience.
• Tooling design experience is a plus; OEM machine design experience a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Detail-oriented with organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop model and assembly designs and drawing packages for manufacturing and outsourcing.
• Design and detail to established and evolving standards.
• Modify prints to meet customer and management expectations.
• Review design projects with internal and external customers.
• Meet with customers as needed, primarily via web conference software; some travel may be required.
• Perform all duties as assigned by Management.
• Work in a dynamic, engineer-to-order environment.
