Position Title: Mechanical Designer

Wage: Based on Experience

A growing manufacturer in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Mechanical Designer to support product development through 3D modeling, engineering drawings, and BOM creation. This is a hands-on design role that will work closely with engineering teams to bring new and existing products from concept through production. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys CAD design work, collaborating with engineers, and seeing their designs move into manufacturing. This role is a strong fit for a Mechanical Designer who enjoys being heavily involved in CAD design, documentation, and engineering support. Candidates with strong Creo experience will be highly valued.

Mechanical Designer Responsibilities:

• Create and modify 3D models using Creo
• Generate detailed engineering drawings
• Develop and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs)
• Support new product development and engineering change activities
• Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams on design improvements
• Apply GD&T principles to ensure manufacturability and product quality
• Maintain accurate product documentation and design records

Requirements for Mechanical Designer:

• Strong proficiency with Creo (required)
• Experience creating 3D CAD models and assemblies
• Knowledge and application of GD&T
• Ability to create engineering drawings and BOMs
• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Design, or related field preferred
• Manufacturing or product design environment experience is a plus
• OEM or industrial product experience preferred
• Background in agricultural, construction, recreational, consumer, or industrial products is a plus
• Experience supporting product development and engineering teams preferred
