  • Perform heating and cooling load calculations; size ductwork, piping, and equipment; and help develop specifications
  • Develop coordinated mechanical drawings and construction documents in Revit alongside architectural and engineering teams
  • Support equipment selection, code reviews, and quality checks to keep designs accurate and buildable
  • Provide client and consultant communication
  • Field work and some travel as required
What you’ll need:
  • 0-3 years of mechanical building-systems design experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • EIT preferred, but not required.
  • Working knowledge of Revit, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office suite is preferred, but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of Mechanical Code, ASHRAE, Energy Code, building codes and cost analysis is preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with HVAC load calculation software (such as Trane TRACE 3D Plus or Carrier HAP) and familiarity with applicable mechanical and energy codes is preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills, written, and verbal
