Job summary

Amerex, a global leader in fire suppression products, is seeking a CAD Drafter to create and maintain part models, drawings, and attributes across PLM and ERP systems. You will manage ECN processes for current and development products and modify part models using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree in drafting or engineering technology or relevant experience, strong math and drawing skills, and familiarity with Autodesk Design Suite, Inventor, and D365.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in drafting, CAD or engineering tech, or relevant experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
• Strong math and technical drawing skills.
• Preferred: GD&T and Autodesk Design Suite.
• Preferred: Microsoft Office and D365 proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage ECN process for current and development products.
• Modify part models with Inventor and AutoCAD.
• Create and update part drawings and labels.
• Create and manage Bills of Material.
• Update user manuals for products.
• Support Sales/Marketing with reference materials.
• Create rendered images using Autodesk 3ds MAX or Inventor.
• Create technical documents and instruction literature.
• Administer Autodesk licenses.
