Job summary

Amerex is seeking an experienced CAD Drafter to create and maintain part models, drawings, and attributes across PLM and ERP systems. You will manage the ECN process, modify models with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD, build Bills of Materials, and support manufacturing documentation and manuals.

Strong attention to detail, knowledge of GD&T, and manufacturing processes are essential. Additionally, the role requires proficiency with MS Office and Autodesk Design Suite, with experience in Microsoft

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in drafting, CAD, engineering technology OR relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong math and technical drawing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Autodesk Design Suite, and Microsoft D365 is preferred.
  • Proficiency in GD&T.

Responsibilities

Overview

Responsible for creation and maintenance of part models, drawings, and attributes across PLM and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage ECN process for current and development products across Autodesk Vault and Microsoft D365 platforms.
  • Modify part models using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
  • Create and update part drawings and labels using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.

Working Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and may involve exposure to moderate noise levels.

While conducting R & D efforts, this position may involve working with hazardous materials, and environmental changes (heat/cold).
