This position will work closely with Engineers and other stakeholders to create manufacturing documentation, bills of materials (BOMs), and product drawings based on engineering specifications and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Engineering on new and existing projects from initial design through product launch.
- Create precise 2D drawings and 3D models of individual components and assemblies.
- Develop detailed drawings, sketches, and notes that meet engineering design and manufacturing standards.
- Ensure drawings incorporate all necessary views, dimensions, tolerances, and specifications required for manufacturing.
- Create and maintain complete Bills of Materials (BOMs), including:
- Material specifications
- Quantities
- Part information
- Process product and design changes through Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and the internal task system.
- Collaborate closely with Engineers throughout the design and development process.
- Participate in weekly project planning meetings to ensure alignment between CAD/design and Engineering.
- Work on clearly defined design projects and, as experience develops, manage assigned projects with appropriate oversight.
