Job summary

eZone Staffing, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Designer to design mechanical systems for a variety of building projects including commercial, manufacturing, food processing, healthcare, hospitality, education, and corporate facilities.

You will size and lay out system components, prepare construction documents and calculations, coordinate with MEPT and architectural teams, and participate in site field services.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in mechanical engineering technology or an accredited MEP Engineering degree is required.
• 1-4 years of mechanical systems design/drafting experience preferred.
• Manufacturing, industrial, or food & beverage facility experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of REVIT and AutoCAD is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design for new construction and renovation projects.
• Size, selection, and layout of mechanical system components for building design.
• Prepare construction documents, specifications, and engineering calculations for building mechanical systems.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, process, architectural, and structural teams; draw setup, sequencing, and formatting.
• Participate in construction administration and field services.

Education

Associate's degree in mechanical engineering technology or an accredited MEP Engineering degree
