Job summary

Search Masters seeks a detail-oriented CAD Drafter to develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for mechanical components using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. You will create precise fabrication, machining, and assembly drawings with BOMs and tolerances, collaborating with engineering and shop floor staff to clarify design intent and resolve issues.

Maintain revision control within the CAD/PDM system and ensure documentation compliance.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience with CAD software.
• Experience producing shop drawings for weldments, sheet metal, and machined parts.
• Familiarity with GD&T principles is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for mechanical components using CAD software.
• Create precise fabrication, machining, and assembly drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and BOMs.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and shop floor personnel to clarify design intent and resolve drawing issues.
