Job summary

Search Masters seeks a detail-oriented CAD Drafter to develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for mechanical components using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. You will create precise fabrication, machining, and assembly drawings with BOMs and tolerances, collaborating with engineering and shop floor staff to clarify design intent and resolve issues.

Maintain revision control within the CAD/PDM system and ensure documentation compliance.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience with CAD software.
• Experience producing shop drawings for weldments, sheet metal, and machined parts.
• Familiarity with GD&T principles is a strong plus.

• Create precise fabrication, machining, and assembly drawings incorporating dimensions, tolerances, and bills of materials (BOMs)
• Collaborate closely with engineering and shop floor personnel to clarify design intent and resolve drawing-related issues
• Maintain and update drawing revisions and ensure document control compliance within the company's CAD/PDM system

Key Requirements

• 2–5 years of hands‑on experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent 3D modeling software
