Job summary

Halian is seeking both Junior (1-4 years) and Senior (5-10 years) Mechanical Designers/Drafters to join a growing engineering team in San Jose, CA. You will create manufacturing drawings, assemblies, and engineering documentation while collaborating with Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain groups.

Responsibilities include detailed drawings in SolidWorks, 3D modeling, BOM maintenance, and supporting ECO/ECR and revision control.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years for Junior or 5-10 years for Senior Mechanical Designers/Drafters.
• Experience creating manufacturing drawings and assemblies.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and 3D modeling.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings using SolidWorks.
• Develop 3D models and detailed component drawings.
• Produce and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Support ECO/ECR and revision control processes.
• Apply GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards.
• Work closely with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers.
• Support prototype builds and product validation activities.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams and suppliers to ensure designs are production-ready.
• Maintain engineering documentation within PDM/PLM systems.
