Job summary

The Tuckey Companies are seeking a Mechanical Designer for Commercial and Industrial HVAC/R projects. You will design mechanical services using AUTOCAD and Revit, working with a team to ensure accurate, efficient layouts.

Requirements include a 4-year engineering degree or equivalent and working knowledge of AUTOCAD; Revit is preferred. Knowledge of plumbing and HVAC is essential, with a willingness to pursue further training as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/industrial engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency in AUTOCAD; knowledge of Revit preferred.
• Experience with HVAC/R systems and plumbing is required.
• Willingness to undertake training.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical services projects using AutoCAD and Revit, directly or with supervision.
• Coordinate with supervisors, peers and subordinates to complete design tasks.
• Support project delivery and technical documentation.

Mechanical Designer for Commercial and Industrial HVAC/R will be responsible to design mechanical services projects directly or with coordinated efforts of superior, peer and subordinate personnel using programs including AUTOCAD and Revit.

Educational and experience requirements include 4-year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or combinations of technical training and/or experience. Should have working knowledge of AUTOCAD. Prefer but do not require experience with Revit. Knowledge of plumbing and heating/ventilation/air conditioning a must. Must be willing to take on additional training.
