Job summary

SHIV SOFTWARE EXPERTS LLC seeks a mid- to senior-level Mechanical Engineer, Senior Mechanical Designer, or Engineer in Training (EIT) with knowledge of mechanical systems and HVAC design to join our Columbia, SC team.

You will design and develop HVAC systems for building projects, prepare drawings with AutoCAD and Revit, perform load calculations, review specs, and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure accurate, compliant designs.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical systems and HVAC design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Excel, and Word.
• Familiarity with Carrier Block Load or Trane TRACE.
• Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.
