Job summary

Sulzer is a leading engineering company seeking a Mechanical Engineer to research, design, and develop mechanical products and systems for energy production, transmission, and measurement. The role targets early‑career professionals who can work closely with senior engineers to validate solutions and document submittals.

The position operates in the Order Related Engineering (ORE) department, coordinating submittal packages, fabrication drawings, and ERP updates, while reviewing project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience using Autodesk Inventor and Vault for design and documentation.
• ERP systems experience and BOM processes.
• ASME Y14.5M 2018 knowledge (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Review project scope and organize hand-off meetings for clarity.
• Design mechanical components, assemblies and GA drawings for sales orders.
• Create and manage submittal packages through customer approval processes.
• Update and maintain sales order workflows in Visual ERP.
• Verify BOMs and drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide mechanical support to Tendering and other departments.
