Emerson offers an engineering internship in the United States that combines office and lab activities to support product design, testing, and development. You will apply engineering judgment to design or modify products and assist with prototypes and testing to resolve technical issues.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and customers during design reviews and help drive design and process improvements to enhance quality and manufacturing capabilities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s in engineering
• Zero (0) years of related experience
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person

Responsibilities

• Work in both office and lab environments to support product design, testing, and development activities.
• Design or modify products using engineering judgment, company standards, and knowledge of applications.
• Assist with prototypes, lab and agency testing, and apply sound engineering practices to resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and customers on technical matters and design reviews.
• Recommend design and process improvements to enhance quality, reduce costs, and improve manufacturing capabilities.
• Prepare and present test results, manage engineering changes, and provide ongoing support for existing products.

Education

Pursuing a bachelor’s in engineering
