Job summary

Emerson is seeking an Analog Hardware Engineering Intern to work with experienced engineers on hardware and software products. You will be mentored through your project, gaining exposure to design, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing production.

You will learn professional techniques, interact with R&D teams, and contribute to design validation while developing your skills across circuit design and board layout.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering or similar STEM field.
• Sophomore or above standing and authorized to work in the United States.
• Understanding of electronics, computers, and programming.
• Interest in digital, analog, RF, and computer technologies; knowledge of design principles.

Responsibilities

• Learn techniques and perform tasks in circuit design, schematic entry, board layout, or validation.
• Collaborate with R&D hardware and software teams on design projects.
• Develop hardware and software solutions for design validation.
• Conduct research to complete projects and diagnose technical challenges.
• Interact with staff to progress on goals and meet project milestones.
