Job summary

Emerson internship in engineering design and testing invites students to work in both office and lab settings. You will participate in prototype work, testing, and applying sound engineering practices to resolve issues.

Collaboration across teams and with vendors will help drive design improvements and product quality. Full-time, in-person role with emphasis on learning and hands-on experience, including exposure to engineering change processes and test result presentation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an engineering degree with expected graduation in the near term.
• Eligibility to work in the United States is required.
• In-person, full-time work availability is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support product design, testing, and development activities in office and lab environments.
• Design or modify products using engineering judgment and standards.
• Assist with prototypes, lab and agency testing, and resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and customers on technical matters.
• Recommend design and process improvements to enhance quality and reduce costs.
• Prepare and present test results, manage engineering changes, and support existing products.
