Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Rising Sophomore to Senior preferred.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 preferred.
• Fundamental understanding of mechanical design principles.
• Experience with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design and development of new products and improvements.
• Create and modify 3D CAD models, drawings, and design docs.
• Support product validation: prototype assembly, testing, data collection.
• Perform engineering calculations, evaluations, and investigations.
• Participate in design reviews and discussions.
• Maintain BOMs, change docs, and product records.
• Analyze test results and prepare summary reports or presentations.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Product Management, and Supply Chain.
• Identify and implement design improvements for performance, manufacturability, reliability, and cost.
• Present outcomes and recommendations to the engineering team.
