Stantec in Nashville, TN is seeking a Mechanical Intern (Co-Op) to support design and field activities under guidance of a senior engineer. You will work on piping, pumps, and equipment layouts, with opportunities to gain BIM experience using Revit or Plant 3D.

Qualifications include pursuing mechanical engineering degree, basic CAD drafting skills, ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team, and a strong desire to learn.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Proficient with CAD drafting; basic Revit understanding.
• Able to work with senior engineers and learn on the job.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Participation in mechanical engineering and design of process piping, pumps, and equipment general arrangements including calculations and layouts.
• Development of mechanical specifications and data sheets
• Production of BIM drawings using Revit or Plant 3D
• Performs field work (evaluation of existing sites) as directed and accompanied by senior engineer.
• Assists with engineering duties on projects of various complexity.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the senior engineering staff.
