Job summary

Good Earth Tools, a manufacturing leader in wear-proofing industrial products, is hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer for our Festus, MO headquarters. You will design, analyze, and improve machined components, steel fabrications, forgings and castings using SolidWorks, collaborating closely with Sales, Marketing and Customers.

This onsite role requires a mechanical engineering degree, strong SolidWorks skills, and the ability to manage cost estimates, drafts, and production routings.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline strongly preferred.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office and related tools.
• Must be customer-focused and a team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze industrial products using SolidWorks.
• Develop bills of materials, production routings, and work instructions.
• Coordinate outsourced activities for forgings and cast products.
• Provide hands-on installation and troubleshooting of new designs.
• Support sales and marketing with engineering solutions.
