Job summary

Good Earth Tools, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our on-site Festus, MO team. You’ll design and analyze industrial products with SolidWorks, supporting customers and sales to deliver robust wear-proofing solutions.

You’ll qualify engineering changes, coordinate outsourced fabrication, and provide hands-on installation and troubleshooting of new and existing designs, while ensuring manufacturability and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficient in SolidWorks and 3D design software.
• Proficient in MS Office and general software.
• Customer-focused and collaborative team player.
• Willingness to work onsite at Festus, MO.

Responsibilities

• Support Customers, Sales and Marketing efforts to provide solutions to heavy industrial issues.
• Complete concept, design, and analysis of industrial products using SolidWorks.
• Qualify and perform engineering change requests as required.
• Coordinate outsourced activities for forgings and cast products.
• Provide hands-on installation and troubleshooting of new and existing designs.
• Source, support manufacturing, and provide technical expertise.
• Develop bills of material, production routings, inspection documentation, and work instructions.
• Focus on production process impacts of new designs and changes.
