Job summary

A staffing agency is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer for a 12-month contract position in Minneapolis. The role requires a 4-year engineering degree, 5+ years of design engineering experience, and 3+ years with ProE Creo. Candidates will work on electro-mechanical assemblies and must have experience in structural analysis using Ansys. They should also be familiar with ruggedized products and thermal management. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Design Engineering experience.
• Experience working with ruggedized and hermetically sealed products.
• Ability to design components for electro-mechanical assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Work from concept through to production of various components.
• Conduct testing and analysis, predominantly structural/stress analysis.
• Determine EMC compatibility for products.
