Job summary

Hellbender Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop new products such as cameras and robotic sensors. You will drive ground-up design, from requirements to production tooling, and contribute to a cobotic assembly workflow.

Responsibilities include modeling, experiments, and documentation, with emphasis on delivering robust designs on schedule. Strong teamwork and communication are essential in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 3+ years of full-time, internship, or co-op experience in mechanical engineering.
• Proficient in 3D modeling; SolidWorks experience a plus.
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to design, implement, and communicate experiments.
• Ability to read, understand, and create technical drawings and materials.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain 3D part/assembly models, drawings, and BOMs.
• Design and analyze experiments to validate component and system performance.
• Apply mechanical engineering principles to meet customer requirements on schedule.
• Expand design approaches for robotic and cobotic assembly.
