Job summary

Qualdoc is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support development of power protection equipment including switchboards, PDUs, and power panels. This hands-on role covers mechanical design, prototyping, documentation, testing, and cross-functional collaboration in Marietta.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in mechanical engineering with 2+ years of experience, and are proficient in SolidWorks, PLM, and sheet metal design.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience mandatory.
• Experience with power protection equipment and data center markets is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical designs and documentation for power protection equipment.
• Lead design reviews and verification activities.
• Design and release mechanical prototypes and support fabrication.
• Lead smaller engineering projects and coordinate cross-functional activities.
• Collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, Service to align designs.
• Support product customization, lifecycle management, ECN, and optimization.
