Qualifications

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
  • 2+ years of relevant engineering experience.
  • SolidWorks CAD, with thermal and structural evaluation.
  • Knowledge of sheet metal design and DFM.
  • Ability to interpret UL and IEC safety standards for power equipment.
  • Familiarity with switchboards, PDUs, UL 891, UL 508 panels is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Develop mechanical designs, drawings, and documentation for power equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet requirements.
  • Participate in design reviews, verifications, and improvements.
  • Design and release mechanical prototypes; support fabrication and evaluation.
  • Lead smaller engineering projects and coordinate activities.
  • Work with production, supply chain, service, and other teams.
  • Support product customization, lifecycle management, ECN, and optimization.
