Job summary

Medical Device Recruiters Inc is seeking a Product Development Engineer to drive the full life cycle development of orthopedic medical devices, from concept through regulatory support and commercialization.

The role requires leading cross-functional teams, proficiency in 3D CAD, strong project management, and deep knowledge of FDA/ISO requirements; orthopedic/arthroplasty experience is a major plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
  • 5+ years of relevant medical device engineering experience.
  • Strong product development and project management experience.
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD; Creo or SolidWorks preferred.
  • Knowledge of FDA and ISO medical device development requirements.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes and Quality Management Systems.
  • Orthopedic medical device experience strongly preferred.
  • Arthroplasty experience (hip/knee/shoulder) a significant plus.

Product Development Engineer | Orthopedic Medical Device

Our client is a global leader in orthopedic medical technology with a strong reputation for product innovation. The company is continuing to invest in its Arthroplasty business and is seeking an experienced Product Development Engineer to join its team.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in the full life cycle development of orthopedic medical devices, from concept and technical feasibility through design, testing, manufacturing, regulatory support, and commercialization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and contribute to new product development and product improvements.
  • Design and develop components and systems using 3D CAD.
  • Lead cross functional engineering projects and manage technical deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
  • Support design controls, testing, regulatory activities, manufacturing, and product launch.
