Link Technical Talent is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer – Manufacturing in Peoria, IL. You will own mechanical design projects, interpret specifications, and develop innovative solutions for custom industrial power equipment from concept through production.

You will collaborate with electrical engineering, project management, manufacturing and sales to deliver engineered-to-order projects and contribute to continuous improvement and best practices within the engineering team.

Qualifications

• Experience designing industrial equipment and heavy mechanical assemblies.
• Ability to interpret customer specifications and develop engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with electrical engineering, project management, manufacturing and sales.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom industrial equipment from concept through production
• Produce and review mechanical designs, drawings and engineering documentation
• Work with project management, production, electrical engineering, and sales to ensure project success
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices across the department
