Job summary

Tulsa Winch Inc. in Jenks, Oklahoma is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design mechanical, electromechanical, and hydraulic systems for winches, gearboxes, and related components.

The role focuses on creating 3D CAD models, accurate drawings, and BOMs while ensuring compliance with engineering standards. You will review ECOs, perform engineering analyses, and guide testing of new designs to ensure performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; 3+ years related experience.
• Intermediate experience with mechanical, electromechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD models, drawings procedures, and BOM preparation.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Preferred: experience with mobile equipment, cranes, winches, hoists, and geared machinery.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical, electromechanical, and hydraulic systems and components including winches, winch accessories, gearboxes, and brakes.
• Create and modify 3D CAD models, drawings, and BOMs; review ECOs as needed.
• Perform structural, mechanical, and load calculations to optimize designs.
• Plan and execute testing to validate new designs and analyze data.
