Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 3-7 years of experience in mechanical design and new product development.
• Experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
• Hands-on skills with machining, sheet metal fabrication, or prototyping desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and testing of mechanical components for mid to large NPD projects.
• Prepare final mechanical specifications for manufacturing and support production.
• Perform DFMEA and risk assessments to mitigate issues.
• Collaborate with sourcing to select materials and optimize cost-efficiency.
• Create production test fixtures and prototypes to validate designs.
• Present technical developments and product demonstrations to stakeholders.
