Job summary

WNA is a leading provider of shopping solutions based in Charlotte, NC, seeking a Product Development Engr. II to design, develop and test mechanical components for carts, gates, and fixtures.

You will maintain CAD data, assist teammates, analyze designs for safety and cost, and support manufacturing ramp-up. Requires BS and 2+ years in product development; SolidWorks and PDM experience; strong communication and multi-tasking.

Qualifications

• BS in related field; min 4-year degree or technical cert.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD and PDM Vault.
• Minimum 2 years of product development experience.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain CAD file PDM vault.
• Assist with SolidWorks and PDM usage and training.
• Analyze designs for safety, sustainability, and cost.
• Create effective 3D models from sketches.
• Design new features for existing or new products.
• Test and analyze product performance.
• Support manufacturing, tool & die, and purchasing.
