Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience managing mid-large size projects in mechanical engineering design.
• Prior experience in plastics part design highly desirable.
• Broad understanding of manufacturing processes and results-oriented mindset required.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and refinement of mechanical product projects.
• Collaborate with sourcing teams for material selection and final specifications.
• Conduct DFMEA, patent assessments, and benchmark competitor products.

Skills

Mechanical design software (SolidWorks or other similar 3D CAD)

Hands-on skills including machining metals and sheet metal fabrication

Product prototyping and testing

Creative problem-solving

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
