Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or math with 3+ years of product design/NPI experience or a related advanced degree with 1 year of technical experience.
Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD tools.
Knowledge of metal and plastic component manufacturing processes and medical device standards.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement mechanical design improvements for released products.
Collaborate cross-functionally with program managers, manufacturing, quality, and external suppliers on CAPAs and investigations.
Participate in test method validation, design verification and validation.
Apply DRM methodologies to the design/development process.
Create 3D models and release engineering drawings, reports, and presentations.
Lead cross-functional teams for root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
